Instructional Facilities Available
Hillyard Technical Center is a 110,000 square foot facility that houses 26 full time classrooms equipped with shops and labs. The facility is ADA compliant and has secured entrances. HTC houses a multimedia room that is commonly used for community events. Community organizations can reserve the room by contacting the assistant director, Chris Gagnon, at 816-671-4170.
Hillyard Technical Center will follow the St. Joseph School District calendar for early dismissals and holidays.

School Year Office Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 3:00pm
Summer Hours:
- Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Closed on Fridays during July
Non-Discrimination Policy

Hillyard Technical Center believes that it is the right of all students to obtain an education in a school environment free from all forms of discrimination or harassment, including sexual harassment. Any student who believes he or she has been the subject of discrimination or harassment should report the incident to a member of the school's professional staff who will bring it to the attention of one of the school's two educational equity representatives.
Section 504 is a part of Public Law 93-112 known as the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. This law prohibits discrimination against all persons with disabilities, both students and employees, by agencies such as school districts receiving federal financial assistance. Section 504 of this law contains requirements including accessibility and employment practices concerning all persons with disabilities. Subpart A of Section 504 outlines eligibility criteria while Subpart D more directly addresses the needs of students with disabilities in an education setting. Subpart D of Section 504 furnished school districts an appropriate process for providing a free and appropriate public education (FAPE) for all students with disabilities at the preschool, elementary and secondary level. The Hillyard Technical Center facility is handicap accessible.

Our policy applies to all personally identifiable financial information ("personal information") about you that is obtained by Hillyard Technical Center in provision of the various services available. Our policy will continue to cover information we may collect about you during the course of your relationship with the school as well as after the relationship has ended.
Limitations on Employee Access To Information
Each Hillyard Technical Center employee is expected to know and follow the college's information security policy. Employee access to personal information is limited to those with a legitimate reason to know such information. All employees are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of protected information. Employees who violate the policy are subject to disciplinary measures.
Protection of Information Via Established Security Measures
Hillyard Technical Center is committed to the security of your confidential information. All data processing systems will be kept in a secure environment to protect your account information from being accessed by unauthorized parties. Hillyard Technical Center will grant access to customer information only in accordance with our internal security policies and applicable laws. These policies and procedures will be regularly reviewed to ensure compliance with federal and state standards.
Other Information Sharing
The school may share information about you to other organizations as required or permitted by law. Examples of such disclosures include but are not limited to subpoenas, servicing your account(s) or fraud protection measures. For your protection, the school will require that all companies in which access to such information is necessary agree to keep all personal information secure and confidential.
