March 1st- AGC of Missouri Education Foundation Scholarship Program

  1. College Scholarship - Applicants MUST attend a Missouri college, university or other eligible school or such an institution which is located in a state contiguous to Missouri, on a full time basis. The applicant’s field of study MUST be in construction or a construction related field.
  1. Skilled Trades /Vo-Tech Scholarship - Applicants MUST attend a Department of Labor registered Apprenticeship Program or pursuing a program requiring one academic year or more for certification at an institution which is located in a state contiguous to Missouri, on a full time basis. 
  2. Graduating high school seniors and college students attending accredited universities, colleges, community colleges, vocational or technical schools, and DOL registered Apprenticeship programs are eligible to apply. Vocational and technical school students MUST be pursuing a program requiring one academic year or more for certification. Only apprentices or students pursuing certification in skilled trades related to construction will be considered for the Skilled Trades /Vo-Tech Scholarship.
  3. Applicants MUST desire a career in the construction industry upon graduation. Eligibility is not limited to students pursuing technical degrees. The AGC of Missouri Education Foundation retains the right to determine if a major or program in which the student is enrolled meets this eligibility requirement.
  4. Applicant MUST be a U.S. citizen or documented permanent resident of the United States (i.e. must possess a “permanent resident” card).

March 5th- MISSOURI SCHOOL PLANT MANAGER ASSOCIATION 2021 SCHOLARSHIP (Letter required so please let me know if you apply)

The Missouri School Plant Managers Association (MSPMA) seeks to assist qualified applicants who are continuing their education by pursuing an Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, or Vocational Certificate/ Degree. 4-$1000 scholarship available

March 15th- Mosaic Life Care Foundation offers a variety of scholarships. Read throug the eligibility criteria and apply here:


March 31st- Missouri Farm Bureau members

  • County scholarships are available. I have a copy of the Buchanan County scholarship but can help you locate for your county if needed.
  • Vocational Scholarship: 

"The Missouri Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture will award four – $500 scholarships to students pursuing appropriate certification in fields related to and supportive of agriculture. This includes, but is not limited to: 1) Heavy Equipment Operations; 2) Electronics; 3) Welding; and 4) Diesel and Farm Machinery Repair. NOTE: Students pursuing a 4-year degree are not eligible." Vocational Scholarship

National Technical Honor Society- There are many different types of scholarships available with your membership. See for the most up to date list. There most popular scholarship, Jon H. Poteat, is due April 20th.


June 15th- Career & Technical Scholarship-

  • Eligibility Criteria:

    • Have completed high school (or earned a high school equivalency credential)

    • Will be enrolled in eligible program in Fall 2021

    • Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a career or technical program (up to 2 years) at an accredited non-profit post-secondary institution in the United States

    • Demonstrated critical financial need (must be eligible to receive the Federal Pell grant as determined by completion of the FAFSA)

    • Demonstrated perseverance in overcoming adversity

    • Be under the age of 30

    • Be a United States citizen
